The Silent Auction Returns After its absence last year, the NCS Silent Auction is returning to the national convention in 2011. With your donation of any chrysanthemum-related items (books, curios, china, pottery, coasters, paintings, needlework, etc.) we will continue this very fine NCS money-raising traditional. The auction is a simple and convenient way for each of us to support NCS. Miriam (Mims) Willinger of the New Jersey State Chrysanthemum Society is heading up the auction this year. In order for Mims to have an idea of the space and materials needed for our auction items before arriving in Kennett Square, we ask that you notify her by October 4, 2011 (the same day as convention registrations are due). You can contact Mims at silentauction@mums.org or 973-366-3696. If you have any questions, please contact her. If you forget to let Mims know about your donation, bring it along to Kennett anyway. If you would like to help at the silent auction, please indicate so on the registration form or in a message to Mims. |
