Growing a Chrysanthemum Tree

The popularity of the chrysanthemum is due in part to the fact that in addition to many types of plants and flowers available, many of the varieties (cultivars) can be trained to interesting forms such as cascades, bonsai, and trees.

This pamphlet provides instructions for growing the tree form, sometimes called a chrysanthemum standard. Growing a chrysanthemum tree is not difficult. Any mum grower can do it. In reviewing the steps involved, there are only three differences in growing trees and growing other mum plant forms - selecting a suitable cultivar, growing a trunk, and knowing when and where to pinch.

Print the order form on your printer, complete the information, and mail the form via USPS.
