Welcome to The National Chrysanthemum Society
We received news today (January 27, 2014) that King’s Mums will be unable to ship any rooted cuttings this year. They had an unfortunate accident in their greenhouses and, as a result, do not feel they are in a position to provide quality rooted cuttings, in the right quantities, and in a timely manner. King’s recognizes the great inconvenience that this causes the many of us who have depended upon King’s to provide us plants for our gardens and our show tables. However, they wanted to be candid about their capability to ship and did not want to promise something that they could not deliver. NCS looks forward to working with King’s as they develop and implement a recovery strategy. We will keep our members and our mum friends informed as we all move forward. Check with your local chapter to see if it will have rooted cuttings of exhibition mums available from its members’ own stock this spring.
See the “Call for Nominations” for the NCS Board of Directors under the “Members Only” tab. Nominations are due by February 15, 2014.
